So I will be attending the CG CON Roadshow here in Boston this November. I am really excited to go to this. Morgan Kelly will be there ( he worked on Monsters vs Aliens which is out on Blu-ray today by the way ). Course outline is yet to still be announced, but it will be a 90 minute class. For the early bird special of $97 I would definitely jump on this if I were you. I can't wait, this will be so freakin awesome!

If anyone from Animation Mentor is planning on going, let me know so we can meet up!

Progress Reel

So here is my progress reel containing everything I have done so far while at Animation Mentor. It's setup to show my most recent work from class 3 first and then everything back to class 1 last. Before starting AM I had never animated anything! I definitely need to become stronger in certain areas but with the help and support of the AM community, I am confident that I will be up to speed in no time! I love animation!!!

Feel free to let me know what you think. Good or bad, I can't improve without any feedback!

And... we're off!

I am happy to say that the Fall 2009 term has officially started! It's great to be a part of the AM community. This place simply rocks!

I am also super excited to find out that my mentor for this term is Paul Allen. I had Paul during class 1 and it was a real treat. I am really looking forward to working with Paul over the next 12 weeks.

First day of school!

Well sort of... today is my first day back to Animation Mentor after taking a leave of absence and I am super excited to be back! The break was much needed for me to be able take in everything I have learned so far and has allowed me to focus on what I need to do next. I feel so refreshed and confident and am looking forward to the challenges that await. I will be starting class 4 ( introduction to acting ) and in just a couple of hours I will find out who my mentor is and who my classmates will be for this term. I can't wait to get started!
